Fred Weasley Fred Weasley is the identical twin of George Weasley. He is two years older than Harry. Fred and George dream of opening a joke shop and finally do when Harry gives them his Triwizard Tournament winnings. The shop is called Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. It is in Diagon Alley. They leave school early in their last year after setting up a swamp in the corridor to annoy Professor Umbridge. Fred dies in the 7th book at the Battle of Hogwarts just after Percy tells Thicknesse he is resighning from the ministry. The book says he dies with `The ghost of his last laugh still etched upon his face`. |
