Hermione Jean Weasley (nee Granger)

Hermione Granger is a muggle born witch. Her parents are dentists and don't want her to mix magic and teeth.she is thought of as a know-it-all by many people (including Harry and Ron to start with).

Harry, Ron and Hermione became friends when Harry and Ron saved her from a Rock Troll at halloween. Since then they have been best friends. Hermione often helps (does) their homework and has probably helped them pass a lot of history of magic exams.

In her first year Hermione helps solve the potions puzzle on the way to the Philosophers Stone. She also helps their journey by telling them how to escape the Venomous Tentacula they fall into. 

In her second year Hermione was victim to the Basilisk, just after finding out that it was the monster in the Chamber of Secrets.  She was petrified not killed though as she saw the Basilisk through a mirror she was holding. Penelope Clearwater was petrified at the same time.

Hermione later goes on to marry Ron and together they have children- Rose and Hugo.
